Die Tour de France Femmes ist im Vergleich zur im Wesentlichen quälend langweiligen Tour de France der Herren eine fabelhaft erfrischende Abwechslung voller Spannung. Ein Rennen mit fast täglichen Führungswechseln und völlig unvorhersehbarem Ausgang. Das ist wirklich toller Radsport.

My Gmail account exists, but I never use it. I check it periodically to see if there's some old service I registered a long time ago that still sends things there, but the last six months it's been completely empty - so I expect to close it soon.
Only one I have is gmail. I haven't used it or checked in years, but I keep it cause... The idea was "Just in case...", but if I'm not checking it, I'm not sure what the point is.
I have a yandex account I used for special purposes, but those are no longer relevant, so it's either idling, or culled by yandex.

While I try my best to avoid the Google app store, being an android user makes wholesale use of another app market difficult, though I have been using f-droid wherever possible.

Generally though: look at what the largest social networks are, and figure how many of those you want to list. After the first five or so it's largely moot. Power-law relationships mean that participation falls off rapidly after considering the market leaders. Meta (FB/Insta/WA), Alphabet (Google, Gmail, Android, YouTube), TikTok, WeChat.

hell yeah! I lost one router because I couldn't get WRT on it, so now I'm using an older linux machine with 2 nics while I work on acquiring another WRT compatible dedicated router. Nothing at all! And yet they are that: an alternative. You have to go against the network effect.
Not so with mail. There's no disadvantage at all beyond a little work and potentially a little money to moving off gmail. You can still send mails to and receive mails from all other gmail users.
That's unique among the list given in the poll, and yet it has the fewest people moving off (in this sample).

I dropped Facebook in the run up to Trump I. I've never had Instagram or WhatsApp. I tried LinkedIn ages ago (before I even moved to China!) and ... it did nothing for me so I dropped it. I've never had a Google App account.

I closed my account early (like 2012ish?). Got a stupid we are sorry to see you go email from them confirming it was done. Partner could confirm I was not listed anymore on Facebook. About 10 years later I started getting password reset attempt notifications. After a lot of these I went and logged in. Just logged in, everything is still there.
I'm now maintaining the login just to avoid identity theft.
sadly I think there's a slight benefit to keeping social media accounts open even if you don't use them in case there's an attempt to inpersonate you on those platforms. The now-defunct "Privacy, Security, and OSINT Show" podcast referred to the practice as "planting a flag".

The consent request should have no consents selected by default. This is insane that you need to opt out instead opt in for dozen of the checkboxes of ads brokers.

I've used #Gnome since it was added to Ubuntu, with some customisation to make it more traditional Windows task bar style. I love the multiple desktop support which helps me manage and switch between tasks (with shortcuts tweaked to move windows between each etc). Brave & LibreFox repopulate all the desktops after a reboot. Very slick.

Are those like linked smart objects? Layers that point to files? Because that is the single biggest feature that keeps me hogtied to Photoshop.
I sure hope it's possible to scale each linked layer in different ways. That's something that even Photoshop has not figured out how to do yet. I don't always want to use bicubic scaling. For example my pixel art requires nearest-neighbor scaling. My inking layers need to use bilinnear scaling to recreate traditional anti-aliasing.
I'll check it out when I see the name of the project finally isn't an ableist slur. Then I can be confident this is free software for everyone, not free as-in Ableism Welcome. It's disappointing, better luck next version 🫡

The mentioned Search engines here still use Bing/Google as their index from what I researched. Ecosia and Qwant are working on their own index but @Mojeek (UK) seems like the only one producing their own results. I am trying Mojeek for the first time, so far so good.
I would also add #infomaniak from Switzerland. Among other things, they offer email and cloud storage services. 19€ per year for 1 TB is amazingly cheap in my opinion.

I closed my account early (like 2012ish?). Got a stupid we are sorry to see you go email from them confirming it was done. Partner could confirm I was not listed anymore on Facebook. About 10 years later I started getting password reset attempt notifications. After a lot of these I went and logged in. Just logged in, everything is still there.
I'm now maintaining the login just to avoid identity theft.
