The app is showing me a captcha before I can send a message, but even after I successfully complete the captcha, and the captcha says that I verified correctly, it just shows me a brief error message which says "failed to submit" and the message doesn't send but seems to be in a weird suspended state! Is there any way to resolve this issue? Help appreciated!

But in some cases (somebody in a domestic violence / controlling spouse situation seeking for help for example) being unable to sync the history to linked devices is a matter of life and death.
What measures did you take to protect these groups?

Why i ask? Playmarket need my private data for espionage (after some time send to me reclams e.t.c.).
You say "privacy is important" but install your "private aplication" is possible ONLY if i give my personal data (phone model, Android system, which Signal version i use e.t.c. e.t.c.)

1. Chat folders. Very useful on mobile, but more than logical to have this on the desktop as well. Synced of course.
2. The most requested feature on the desktop since ages: GIF's!

Yes please!! I just had this issue and needed to restore my history by importing two old backups and exporting them again, after another to get both to the same DB schema, then merge them, and then import messages exported from Signal Desktop. It was a painful process but signalbackup-tools saved my bacon, really. If this isn't necessary in the future anymore, that'd be a big boon!
